Cambridge in England in 1940, the month for scholars to study. Vikram Sarabhai
came to India from England after the sinking of World War II. Renowned
astronomer and mathematician c. V. Raman joined the running Indian Institute of

expense on November 11, 1947, in the city of Ahmedabad to study the effects of
the Cosmic Rays - study - effect.
Vikram Sarabhai stressed to the government that India needs
to strengthen and accelerate its space launches. He, therefore, saw the need to
establish a specialized research institute. Russia has shocked the world by
sending the Sputnik spacecraft into space. Only then did Vikram Sarabhai firmly
believe that India also had the capability to conduct space launches and that
one day even an Indian would set foot on the moon. Dr. Hami Jahangir Baba, a
prominent nuclear scientist at the time, fully agreed with Sarabhai's ideas.
Based on their efforts, ISRO, based in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, is a
well-known space launch research center. We all know how many space satellites
the ISRO Center has successfully launched so far. Vikram Sarabhai was the one
who anticipated this success decades ago and laid the foundations for it!
Vikram Sarabhai was instrumental in India's successful launch of its first
satellite Aryabhata in 1975.
Vikram Sarabhai The benefits of physics are not limited to
space experiments. He also focused on the unique role that physics plays in

television, a satellite that can be viewed by millions of people in 2400
villages across the country have unleashed a revolutionary, technological
marvel in our country in the region of 1975-76. Vikram Sarabhai spearheaded
such a creative experiment. Vikram Sarabhai's passion for education established
the Community Science Center in Ahmedabad in 1966 with the aim of educating the
future. After Sarabhai's death, Yide Vikram A. Sarabhai was transformed into a
