Mother Teresa Biography
"What matters is how lovingly we do what we do."
She was born on August 27, 1910, the fifth child in an
Albanian family. Three of them survived. Although she was unaware of her early
life, her religion grew while she was still in elementary school. At the age of
12 he had a desire to travel with foreign pilgrims and serve the poor in his
spare time. The Jesuit missionaries wanted to come to India because of the
messages. Ireland at the age of 18 years Sent as a member of the Torito
campaign team at the compound. It was here that she changed her name to Sister
Mary Theresa in honor of St. Theresa Avila Lisex Theresa. Only acquaintance as
Mother Theresa since 1937. She joined St. Mary's Girls' School in Calcutta
district as a waitress and taught there for 15 years. On September 10, 1946,
while on a flight to Darjeeling, she overheard a radio broadcast. She
considered them to be a call from God. She decided to leave the teaching
profession and serve the poor and the deserving. She heard the call for all to
follow Jesus and serve them in the slums and serve the poorest of the poor.
Safe, it is impossible to get out of the shelter in the convent. There are many
obstacles. At first, the church tried to interrupt another kind of service. Also, the permission of the Chief Evangelist of Calcutta is required. In 1948, The Vatican allowed the Calcutta evangelist to carry out new activities. She thus
changed her habits from the convent security and came into the vast world of
dirt roads outside like an ordinary Indian woman in saree and sandals.
Trained in medicine, she founded the Sangam, the same
Missionary of Charity. The poverty, purity, and humility of those members are an
important responsibility to help the poor people free of charge. In Theresa's
words, it's the duty of this society to protect the hungry, the crippled, the
crippled, the blind, the lame, the helpless, the useless, the unloved, the
burdensome, the marginalized. She began to teach children living in the slums
to read, write, and clean, and slowly began to look after the sick and the
elderly. The Missionary of Charity, which she founded, has been helping the
needy survivors since 1953 in Kalighat. The reason for that is old in the eyes
of God. She took up the program because she felt that patients needed a little
more love and respect than anyone else. Helping the poor is helping Christ. In
1957, missionaries worked and educated lepers. They also provided accommodation
for orphans. In 1959 it was extended to other towns in India. Soon 22 centers
were formed in India. Theresa later became Australia, Africa,
He traveled to South America and founded similar companies
there. Population growth is the cause of this poverty, but this missionary
organization is against abortion. It is said that Theresa was the most sinful
and the worst enemy of peace. The members of the organization expanded their
activities to various remote areas in the 1970s. Teresa got international
recognition. Kaka also received financial assistance. By the time she was
awarded the Nobel Prize in 1979, she had founded more than 200 organizations
operating in 25 countries around the world. It later sent its missionaries to
Russia, China, and Cuba. Her greatness is seen in everything from protecting
her chosen AIDS victims to building a home for orphans — a home for the
mentally ill. She looks at us with a thin, energetic wrinkled face and glowing
eyes. She is the recipient of numerous international awards.
Some of them……….
"Albert Schweitzer
International Prize"
"Medal of Freedom, President of the United States"
"Nobel Prize"
"The International Balzan Prize"
When she was awarded the Nobel Prize she refused the banquet
arranged in her honor and asked that the cost be used to help the poor of
Calcutta. She died of a heart attack on September 5, 1997. Her whole life and
ideas were born out of her words. My heart however is Jesus.
